That opening paragraph is tremendous, don't know if I have that level of outdoor pooping enthusiasm but I appreciate it.

Nest outdoor poop I ever had was probably doing some primitive camping on BLM land outside of Moab. We were on a ridge and I got up for a nice poop as sunrise hit the plateau we were on. Really satisfying poop in a hole, that one.

But now we're not even supposed to do that! Because of woke.

We do a fair amount of camping, but I've only camped with a wilderness permit a couple of times, so I'm no expert on the "etiquette" part. I do recall what a hassle it was to have to find a spot and dig a hole while dilating, kinda took all the enjoyment out of taking care of my daily business.
