Kaitlin Olsen is as excellent as you'd expect in the Mick, but I've got no sense of humour for the jokes around neglecting that very small boy. Tanks that show, as far as I'm concerned.

I wasn't paying enough attention it is called THE Brave!

I knew it was going to be crap when the Special Forces, Secret Service, Black Ops, CIA or whatever they are said," I have got a plan but it is risky"!

Finished watching the series From the Earth to the Moon this morning. Really fucking good stuff, examining aspects of the missions from a lot of creative angles (e.g., one about the wives and the anxious lives they lived; one about the geologist who trained a bunch of test pilots to be more discerning in terms of what to look for on the moon; and the Apollo XIII near-disaster from the perspective of people on the ground). I really am a hopeless romantic when it comes to the 1960s space race, so gobbled that up like a little kid.
I love that series. We found the DVDs at a used bookstore for super cheap. It’s good as hell. I’m due a rewatch.

We are cutting the cord today. I'm 99% happy with this decision, but the only thing I will miss is being able to DVR shows. Also, evidently the CW doesn't put their shows on Hulu, so I will have to wait for Riverdale, iZombie and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend to come on Netflix. Otherwise, it's pretty useless for us to have cable. We don't watch sports at all.

Going to be doing the same shortly. I've kept cable for the last few years almost exclusively for sports, but most of the sports I watch most I can stream and we already carry several subscription services (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) which takes care of most of what we watch. Well, what the lady friend watches.I barely watch non-sports TV anymore. We move in May, and so the cable just isn't going to move with us.

There's what you might call many extra legal ways of seeing your favorite shows. You have to be careful with some sites though as if youre not careful youll get a buttload of spam.

Flex, what are you using for live sports? Thats the one thing that keeps me ties to the cable box.

I buy mlb.tv every season, so I can watch 99% of Sox games and I buy NBC sports premiere league streaming package so I can watch West Ham. I may pick up an ESPN streaming sub and/or a Fubotv sub to round that out, or I may just extra-legally stream stuff as needed.

The last bit is what i terest me the most and I need to look into this further. It isnt that Im opposed to paying for say MLB to watch NYY games, its more that I would only get to watch some bits of games some of the time. My wife is notoriously bad if I turn on a baseball game.
