Currently going through Fawlty Towers again, fantastic comedy. Cleese is perfect in his role and his comic timing is second to none. Just finished Waldorf Salad, a personal favourite of mine.
Fawlty Towers is one of the all time best!

They do a great and accurate job of portraying Americans in that one.

God help America if that's the case!

You should know by now it's way too late for that.

Halfway thru the new Catch 22 mini series. It's not bad by any means, but it comes off more as tragic than the black comedy of being sane in an insane system. The only real comedy is Milo Minderbinder's conversion of the war into a giant trading operation.

I saw this listed on Hulu last night. I never read the book, saw the movie years ago and wasn't sure what to expect.

The book is one of the great novels of the 20th c (tho I enjoyed an audio version even more). The movie never quite caught its spirit. Neither does this miniseries, but it's more watchable, I think.

Currently watching the cricket (sighs all round) highlights. Though Pakistan played well, England just have too much class and smashed them 4-0 in the One Day series, can't wait for the World Cup now with the squad they have.

Didn’t see any of it but I really only enjoy test matches.

I love all formats of the game though I agree tests are the pinnacle of cricket and by far the most enjoyable, 5 days off work to watch a whole test is my dream to be honest.
