So, in Kimmelweck's situation, multiple sneezing is an example of how capitalism creates false desires that we believe are sincere expressions, creating a momentum whereby, as Macdonald argued, "the engine is reciprocating and shows no signs of running down."
That's what I was afraid of. Thanks Doc.

Well, you could consider the history of the Dust Bowl as an example of how the logic of commercial agriculture, while rational on an individual level, can cause an ecological disaster when applied at a macro level.

So you're saying the Dust Bowl is making me sneeze? I gotta say, that makes perfect sense. Thanks again.

Has anyone dealt with shoulder pain? It's much worse after a night's sleep. I'm going to see a doc after the new year, but any tips on alleviating pain for now?
My sister recommended I try something called an Osmo Patch, which you put on the affected area, and overnight it leeches out some kind of gross shit. She swore by it, but it did nothing for me with my rough shoulder.
It's worth a shot. What did you end up doing in the end?
If your health insurance covers it try PT.

I fucked up my rotator cuff a few years back. Went to PT for a few months and its much better
I'm hoping I can do this. Glad yours is better!

It's really not bad. The worst part is the prep. Make sure you schedule the procedure first thing in the AM, otherwise no food or caffeine until much later.

And it's so important.

I’m over being squeamish about this stuff and just want to get it over with. I’m just trying to not die of lazy neglect.

Hello,

It's not as bad as you may think. As others have said, the preparation is the worst part of the process. Schedule it early and remember you'll need someone to drive you there and back. You'll sleep through it. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the expression "Pissing through your asshole".

Hello,

I haven't been to Cracker Barrel for a long time - but that sounds about right.
