Never seen ketchup anywhere in the Triangle. It's all vinegar stuff, just like back in Virginia.

Nah, NC is mostly a'ight. Vinegar (good) on the coastal regions and light tomato based (eh) in the piedmont. Like I've said in the past, I grew up on the border of the vinegar and mustard regions, so I'm down with either.

The times we had barbeque in Greensboro, it was tomato.
That makes sense. The only places in SC that I've heard are tomato are very close to the border near Greensboro.
