I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

Ahh, Delux...my old after-work haunt. Are the staff there still uselessly rude to patrons?

I'm passive-aggressively aggrieved by this unfortunate development. Delux just doesn't have the same je ne sais quoi without the intentional standoffishness from the bartendgals. I've always enjoyed my time there with co-workers...while all the while never, ever having so much as a smile cracked at me in return or front doors opened on-time for start of business hours.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑20 Apr 2018, 10:51pmNope, we had a lovely rocker gal who looked a little like Adell.Rat Patrol wrote: ↑20 Apr 2018, 10:09pmAhh, Delux...my old after-work haunt. Please tell me they at least still have the tiny fake Xmas tree at the bar that's lit up year-round??? South End's truly gone to hell in a handbasket if that thing's gone too along with the chilly 'tude.

Well, I play the charm game. Some dingy broad came in and asked for a table for nine and was told that they’d better order food or they’d give away the table. We just went out there because we were out for a walk. My usual Friday night pop is taken by myself at the standing bar at Foley’s on East Berkeley St. it’s tough to find a proper frozen in time dive these days.Rat Patrol wrote: ↑20 Apr 2018, 11:37pmI'm passive-aggressively aggrieved by this unfortunate development. A few weeks ago, I came across the claim (which I just remembered now to ask you about) is that the phrase "bless your heart" is Southern code for "you're an asshole." As an unreconstructed secessionist, can you verify?
