Top 5 Comedians?

Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

"Not Going Out" is one of the most atrocious tv programmes ever made. Up there with Miranda and Mrs Brown's Boys.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

A bit late to this, but the Bulgarian horse thing was hilarious.

Bill Burr has got a new special coming out tomorrow on Netflix. Can't wait to watch.

Found out that Bob Odenkirk put out a comedy album this year and listened to it on Spotify this morning. Meh. He admits on stage that it's all half-baked, but that doesn't change the impact. A few decent moments, but mostly meh.

Kind of related... I'm looking forward to "Better Call Saul" in February.

I'll give it a shot even tho (*preparing to be crucified by my admission here*) Breaking Bad didn't grab me. I watched, I dunno, half of the first season and decided it wasn't for me.

To each his/her own. I enjoyed it a lot, my wife watched the first and last episodes. She never would have dedicated herself to the whole thing aND didn't like the first episode.

I've never been able to bring myself to watch Mad Men. The same guy who implied my sense of humor wasn't refined enough to appreciate big bang theory also thought I wouldn't appreciate Mad Men because it was too cerebral or something.

The obsessive fandom of Breaking Bad has its twin with Mad Men (and I'm a serious fan of MM, from the very first episode). Both shows generate that irritating supporter who treats non-fandom as a war crime. I don't think I'd treat MM as all that cerebral, either. It's well written and has an exceptionally strong sense of history—the history is virtually a character itself—but it's not especially deep, either.

Not to be THAT GUY, but the tone of the show changes quite a bit over the five seasons. Worth watching at least a full season.

How far in do you think I need to go before I can make a fairer assessment of whether it's for me? Into season 2?

Was that the story where the guy accidently bought a horse? If so yes that was very funny.

Observation: pretty much all of my favorite/the best comics are atheists.
