I’ve convinced my MAGA cousin that I have been considering converting to Islam. He is beside himself but I’m going to keep it going. His sisters and my immediate family are in on it. We are having a family gathering this weekend and I’m going to refuse alcohol and ask if every plate of food has any pork in it. I’ll report back.
Hey, dinkhole, how'd this go?
It was a total bust. First, he's de-MAGAfied a little. The shut-down seemed to have softened him. Second, he just didn't believe me and my cousin (his sister) had no poker face at all. SHe started laughing her ass off when I was asking if the corned beef had any port in it.
Boo to your family.
I did teach my niece and her cousins how to run the three card monty scam.

Some kids no matter how rich just ain’t smart enough for college. 50.5W followed one of those busted for fake sports scholarship on Instagram. Never once mentioned her sport and in fact posted comments saying the opposite and how she didn’t do anything apart from party. How dumb is that.

I don't think it's a matter of being smart enough or not. Plenty of very smart people either didn't go to college altogether or delayed college. I just think, especially in the US, that we need to remove the stigma against going to trade schools and the like.

Sorry Jenny I was joking that the rich kid wasn’t even smart enough to fraudulently buy a scholarship let alone win one.

Yes. You realize this every time you need a plumber, electrician etc.

A wild guess of, like, a dozen unfamiliar names was … wrong.

Got it on the first try, but it's because I once stumbled upon that fact (it's even in the Today I Learned thread) and was surprised.
