I only answered the ones that I knew: 12/29.
39/41. Brit pop kid.
I figured you and Heston would set the pace on that one.

30/41

I missed out on some of the lesser lights of the scene.

3/41. Other than Radiohead I got lucky. I'm pretty sure I've never knowingly heard any of these songs.

I think that the quiz captured a basic truth that I'm somewhere between revbob and Heston. :D

Ha that must be easy as I also got them all correct. I guess things just stick in your head from news reports. Although I owe Harry Enfield's "only me" character for the capital of Peru answer.

I was surprised that I got 14/25 when some that I thought were obvious didn't show up. Pro tip: there's a lot of awful in there.

12/25. Can't believe I never got number two.

I also entered KISS 15 times thinking they had to be there.

10/25. Goddammit, I can't believe I missed so many obvious ones.

13/25. Thought I would ace it, but missed some real obvious ones. How is Sabbath not on there?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

14/25 - I kept re-typing Sabbath and Kiss thinking I must be spelling it wrong.
