Just bought tickets for LA Rams V SF 49ers in December :approve:
Expect it to be bad.
Is that good?
I recommend an NBA game if you can fit it in. I assume you’ll be in LA.
Yep have tickets for Lakers V Clippers.

I think he means not competitive. LA had a decent team last year and the Niners have a new QB who did well the 2nd half of the season. It should be a fun game for you. A draw is highly unlikely though. Is this one of the games un England or are you coming to the US ? Have you ever watched any games in TV?
It is in LA. I have watched games on TVso understand the basics but not sure I will have a clue what is going on when it is live. Could have bought a house for the price of the tickets.
Ah nice. Should be better as the teams shouldn't be jetlagged. And in LA it should be nice weather. I havent been to an NFL game since I was a kid.

Also, just FYI, the owner of the Rams is probably the world's worst person (behind Trump).

Isn’t that criteria for owning any sports team e.g. Glaziers (Tampa Bay and Man Utd), Roman Abramovich, Vincent Tan, Mike Ashley etc etc

Generally, yeah. I will credit George Steinbrenner with one thing: he was willing to spend money because he actually cared about winning. Most owners care about the books and only see value in a winning team if it will reliably increase profitability. Steinbrenner was a lousy human being and his interference often worked against his desire to win, but the dude badly wanted to win the World Serie every year. As a fan, I'd want that kind of guy owning my team (assuming he then gets out of the way and lets the experts do the work).

Yeah, but Stan Kronke is egregiously horrible. I mean, movie villain horrible. He's married to a Walmart heiress, BTW. He is a nasty piece of work.

The Glazier family bought Manchester United for £525 million in 2005. At the time the club was debt free and owned all of their assets including the stadium.
To finance the purchase the Glaziers borrowed ALL of the money against the club.
Since 2005 they have spent £700 million of the clubs profits servicing the debt.
The debt still stands at £360 million!!!
The Glazier family pay themselves £20 million per year in dividends from the club profits.

No wonder they love the club.
