Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Took a peek at some post-mortem on SoSH, and some made an interesting comparison: The Bill n Tom Pats are like the Torre Yankees. Dominance in the early years followed by regular season dominance and playoff frustration. The fate of great teams.

Jesus, who drops $1000 on such an unlikely result? And 50-1 still seems like low odds.

As a Washington Fan I always forget about Dallas.

I also thought NO was going to be a B2B.

GB would have been in the middle, but 2 in 3 years woulda been cool.

Favre, Warner and P. Manning all have this in common: All were pretty legit favorites to win their second Super Bowl and were upset. Favre to NE, Warner to TEN, Manning to NO.

No wait, I got that wrong, the Rams beat TEN, lost to NE, GB beat NE, lost to DEN.
