Tough Simpsons identification quiz on minor characters. I got 50/96, but I recognized almost all of them—just couldn't retrieve their names (tho in some cases they have no names, just descriptors).
61 and I was proud of some of the very obscure ones.
I can visually recognize but not name 61 of them, can name about half of them. I had no idea that Jimbo's buddy is named Dolphin

He'd always been Dolph, making him Dolphin must be some later season addition crap.

Even that I don't recognize though as ever being mentioned, I probably just don't pay close enough attention.

I'm excited to take this quiz when I have a chance. Glad to see Richard on the board.
I've always loved that "land of wind and ghosts" line.
Everything about that commercial is insanely hilarious. Any plans for the summer?
It was also a funnier take on Japanese culture than the episode where they actually go to Japan (which is still a better post-10 episode than most).
Oh Christ, yes. That was another of their try-to-hard, jam-crap-in efforts. This was part of the B story, a throwaway extended gag that just soars, capturing how goddamned bizarre Japanese media looks to outsiders.
