My brother hasn't ever seen it. He saw some post season-9 episodes and the movie, neither of which counts.
What are some good episodes to start with, you think? I'm gonna hit up filestube and load up a bunch of episodes to force him to watch tonight. The only ones I've downloaded already are Marge v. The Monorail* and Fish Called Selma, and that one where Homer goes to the chili cook-out and trips balls in the wilderness.
*Just realized that this episode predicts a lot of the tone of Futurama.

Last Exit to Springfield, Lisa's First Word, Lemon of Troy and Secrets of a Successful Marriage all leap to mind.

Seasons 4-6 are pure gold. But really, just about anything from seasons 2-10 is pretty solid.

All the Halloween specials, my favorite is the one where Homer makes a time machine using a toaster.
