… Mike Post, who composed a ton of well-known tv theme songs (e.g. Rockford Files, LA Law, Law & Order, Hill Street Blues), was the producer for Van Halen III (the one with Gary Cherone).
Does anyone know what that album sounds like? For better or worse, worse for sure I know how DLR and SH sound so I can normally say this is VH when a song comes on the radio. But Gary Cerone? I have no idea.
Never heard it, but my understanding is that it was like a parody of a Van Halen record.

If only there was someone tangentially related to this board who would know the answer. :shifty:

Perfect Strangers lasted 8 fucking seasons (86–93). I would have sworn that it last no more than 3 seasons. Yet for something that lasted that long, I don't think I've ever stumbled upon it in syndication, which is odd for something that must have had around 200 episodes.

It's really baffling what succeeds and what flops given that there doesn't seem a lot of daylight between the two. I guess you can appreciate why so much garbage gets greenlit—it might work!
