Germany in July with a quick hop to Blighty and hopefully catch up with my nephew at his restaurant in Paris.

First week of June to Corfu, Greece. It is the first trip abroad in five years (excluding a day trip to Estonia next door with a school group) and the first with our children.

Houston is one of the worst places I've ever been. Definitely the worst big city I've ever been.

It certainly was at some point I recall reading the same thing.

As for 101s comment well yes I have been to worse places those have usually been places ravaged by war, corruption and other terrible things. Houston is not such a place yet is still horrible.

Houston is awful. Just awful. No zoning, McMansions everywhere, traffic nightmares, etc. I agree that it is the worst big city I have been to.

There are worse places in the world but I don't think I have been to any. I even preferred Kinshasa despite being held hostage at gun point.
Johannesburg is the only place I have been to where I did not want to go outside and just wanted to leave. It has zero redeeming features. Even worn torn countries in the Middle East have history and culture on their side.
