I remember I took a trailer vacation in Scotland about ten years ago and some mildly inebriated Scotsman would wake the whole trailer park up with his wretched bagpipe playing every morning. I tried to steal them but he'd chained them to his trailer wheel with a bicycle lock. Nothing a pair of scissors didn't sort out.

Yep. Eumaas keeps saying he's half american, but I don't have to search long to find a post like this:Heston wrote:PH has been known to use a lot of English vernacular. Which isn't too egregious, but it's certainly more limey than the average post.Purple Hayes wrote:Dragging on a bit innit?, I'm actually going to the chippy now being a good Catholic boy, sort it out Moaty, fight the law or put 'em up..
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Re: movies
The absolute worst movie I've ever seen (and I tend to enjoy stupid movies like The Stupids and Carpool) was Funny Money. Hard to believe Chevy Chase was once funny after you see that.
