Re: movies
I recall the Stupids being pretty watchable.
Re: movies
I think someone already mentioned this in another thread, but i'll post it again. Predators is a great film. The editing is very good, keeping you interested
all the way to through. There is also a pretty good twist towards the end.
Also, they showed the Machete trailer, can't wait for that one.

Very fast film. The only let up was the Laurence Fishburne interlude.daredevil wrote:I think someone already mentioned this in another thread, but i'll post it again. Predators is a great film. The editing is very good, keeping you interested

I'm so punk, I don't even take my leather jacket off when it catches fire. Which it does frequently, because of how fucking punk I am.

I am off to watch Toy Story 3
Re: movies
I 've read on IMDB that a lot of fans thought the Laurence Fishburne sequence was not needed. I liked it. He explained what they found atBankrobber wrote:Very fast film. I felt the scene was too short, otherwise I didn't have a problem with it. Though if longer it might've slowed down the pace in a big way.daredevil wrote:I 've read on IMDB that a lot of fans thought the Laurence Fishburne sequence was not needed. I liked it. Re: movies
Speaking of Monty Clift, I just saw a pretty good movie that isn't mentioned in the opening of Right Profile. The Heiress (1949) Oliva DeHavilland is the daughter of a millionaire, but she's awkward and shy and guys don't like her. Then Monty comes in all handsome and charming and he asks her to marry him, and her dad is all "motherfucker, you ain't got no job" and she's all "fuck you dad, I love him"

Re: movies
Olivia won the Oscar for that. Here's some stuff I just found out. She's still alive, and she's the only cast member from Gone With the Wind that's alive. And her sister is Joan Fontaine (Rebecca, Suspicion) and she's still alive too!

I'm sorry, but I call bull shit. Doesn't explain why he did the sequel as well (unless it was some sort of contractual obligation).Flex wrote:Bill Murray is pretty cool: http://www.pajiba.com/trade_news/and-no ... -movie.php
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
