Master and Commander with Russell Crowe. Underrated as anything.

I like the film he made about the happy cannibal who had his neighbour's wife to dinner.Silent Majority wrote: ↑28 Feb 2021, 9:42amMaster and Commander with Russell Crowe. Underrated as anything.

Just an updated Spartacus really without the Kirk Douglas crew cut.

Yeah pretty much. Crowe is hit and miss but Master and Commander is solid.Silent Majority wrote: ↑28 Feb 2021, 10:42amLike a decent cover song, I guess.Marky Dread wrote: ↑28 Feb 2021, 10:21amYes Glad-He-Ate-Her.Silent Majority wrote: ↑28 Feb 2021, 10:14amGladiator?Marky Dread wrote: ↑28 Feb 2021, 10:09amI like the film he made about the happy cannibal who had his neighbour's wife to dinner.Silent Majority wrote: ↑28 Feb 2021, 9:42amMaster and Commander with Russell Crowe. Re: movies
The Boss dialed this up today. The basics are a Pakistani man and a white woman have a brief relationship but he is brought back into her orbit when she becomes seriously ill. Tensions from both sides of their families regarding their relationship, as well as his own conflicted relationship between his upbringing and American values. It's a romantic comedy—and the funny stuff is really fucking funny—without being cloying or false. Highly recommended. Loosely based on Nanjiani's relationship with his wife.

Cant see the image there but assume this is The Big Sick. Caught that when it was released, very enjoyable and lot of charm.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑28 Feb 2021, 1:42pm

Re: movies
Just watched Ransom (1996) with Mel Gibson. Really solid action thriller but Gibson's acting is a bit over the top.

Oh no, don't tell me, you're as precious with your movies as you are with music?
