I can never find the goddamn movie thread when I need to, but I wanted to say House of the Devil was a bunch of fun.

Currently watching National Lampoon's Vacation again for the first time since the 90s. It's still great.

I've been wanting to see House of the Devil but never get around to it.

All three NL Vacation movies are pretty good. European Vacation I haven't seen since I was a kid, the other two I watch every other year or so.

As ghastly as Chevy Chase's career became, the first two Vacation flicks still work for me. Clark Griswold is very much a precursor of Homer Simpson—the middle-class father as clueless boob, with kids already more perceptive than him.

Personal bias, of course, but the bagpipes are the most hateful. My will to live is sapped noticeably whenever I hear that sound of strangled animals.

Besides "In a Big Country" and that other single off the first album, name three of their songs.

Steeltown, East of Eden, and Wonderland.

Okay, that took some time, but they're alright.
