I Googled it, and Beaner's visual description is...sadly accurate.

The secret ingredient is suet.
It is a 400 year old recipe no wonder it looks like shit.
Suet is the least disgusting ingredient of the puddings we had to eat for school dinners, sago, semolina, tapioca puddings. All look and taste like wallpaper paste which is probably why Simmo thought that glue was pretty tasty to eat.
You can actually see France from England and yet the cuisine comparison is interplanetary.
I tried to see France when I was in Dover but it was too hazy.
No that was all the French people smoking.

Consider this an official warning: anybody who starts a "Quotable Hoy: The Collective Works" thread is going to see the receiving end of the KILLvan's new 1.21 gigawatt roof-mount dual long-range tasers.

Who'dve guessed the Dem establishment was so enmeshed in Quotable Hoy?

A Dad’s life.
The downside to having an athlete in the family, Friday night just me at home. The missus was out, 25.25 at his girlfriends house and 50.5 at training. Great you would think, few beers, listen to some of Marky’s new gems, wander round the chippy for some nice Snapper and chips 😞
No I have to cook lamb with kumara, brocolli, courgettes and asparagus and has to be ready when 50.5 walks in the door as she refuses to eat takeaways. Worst thing is I had to pick 25.25 up at 10pm so couldn’t even have a beer.

A sandwich sandwich. It's like a sandwich but you get a sandwich and put it between two slices of bread.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Which supports the position that individuals are good, people are awful.

Burger with mushrooms and onions all cooked together and washed down with a tasty stout.

Chicken gumbo, albeit from a can. On days when I don't exercise, I eat especially light.
