A+, and a nice trip back to my childhood.Silent Majority wrote: ↑15 Dec 2022, 6:21amAlfred Hitchcock, in various shades of grey, steps forwards. “Well,” he drawls, “We have to give you a happy ending sometimes. Otherwise, the network would be breathing down our necks on behalf of our most dear corporate sponsors. Speaking of necks, I can only posit that no vampires will be chasing our hero of the week with his newfound garlic supply. We look forward to welcoming you back next time with a brand new story of the fascinating macabre and until then, you’ll find me cooking with spices in my own special way.” The camera zooms out to reveal a crematorium oven. “Good evening.” Hitch steps into his own superimposed frog-like caricature and Funeral March of a Marionette starts to play.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

Hello,
My grandmother worked in a butcher shop in Bergen County, New Jersey. Cannibal sandwiches were a regular lunch item.

I think it's good that we sensibly reject the knowledge achieved by cave dwellers thousands of years ago.revbob wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 11:11amWWK dont do it!

Do any of you all eat Chick-fil-A? I only eat it when I don't have options. Yesterday, I had some of the chicken nuggets and holy crap! I spit it out and just ate the fries. It was so salty, I couldn't handle it. Why is this chain so popular?

Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
Marketing hype. They don't exist within our borders
Edit: I've had to travel a lot for work so have eaten at many different places with lots of different people. Ive also cooked a lot for people. Ive noticed that quality often doesn't matter. Ive sprent a lot of time making something good and people love it Ive also done things half assed and noticed that most people at least really like it. So do I go thevextra mile in meal prep for some extra thanks or do I go middle of the road knowing its at least good enough for most people. Know your audience I guess.

When it comes to stuff like food and medicine, I tend not to reject the modern world in favour of life before the Bible.revbob wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 12:28pmYeah fire is what helped us get out of those caves.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 12:24pmI think it's good that we sensibly reject the knowledge achieved by cave dwellers thousands of years ago.revbob wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 11:11amWWK dont do it!

When we lived in NC, whenever we went by one, in my head I pronounced it like a Kennedy: "That, er, ah, is a Chickfillah."
Don't think we ever tried one, tho, which is odd because our diet in NC was horrendous.

Someone might want to consider some salads in their diet.
