Ironically, I find lettuce to be a little dry and hard to swallow without something on it. But nothing creamy, please.

Yeah Ill use a very light dressing sometimes, but mostly just go without, the looks that I get at restaurants sometimes.

I have a friend that just takes a little olive oil. Seems ok, but I haven't tried it.

A food observation: The belch after eating a burger with red onions is especially satisfying. Sure, it's likely toxic to those around (I'm alone right now, save for the cats), but, damn, red onion burp is a small but real pleasure.

I too am a fan of TJ’ latkes. I fry em slow in some butter, dust em with paprika, and make little sandwiches filled with sour cream and diced green onions. I then wash them down with some old school yellow beer and watch basketball.
