It’s got a Japanese twist. It’s fairly adaptable in general. More info later, the hanger is the miso glacé/marinade for the cheap beef.

450 g beef for stew
85 g button mushrooms
450 g onions
150 g carrot
450 g potatos
1 1/2 tablespoons wheat flour
360 ml red wine
600 ml beef or chicken soup
1 bay leaf
2 tablespoons tomato paste
285 g demi-glace sauce
1/2 tablespoon red miso
a little salt
a little pepper
2 tablespoons salad oil

It’s also good to omit the potato so you can store it and serve it over rice later.

First mug o' hot chocolate of the year. One of life's simple but true pleasures.

I used to be, but because I have to force myself to not have hot chocolate too often, I don't buy them anymore. But they do make a great thing even better.

 The missuz says I eat like a high school girl. Unless I'm going out for lunch, I have some yogurt and that's it, and my suppers are pretty modest.

You eat like an anorexic high school girl from an afterschool special! Where are you hiding your vomit jars?

"I just have will power," she says to her friends, then sneaks away to her bedroom closet with the cache of Mars bars.

Yup. Which I think is an English cultural linguistic influence.

Supper in England is a late night snack after evening meal.
