This is where it's at when it comes to hot dogs: the classic Chicago Dog.
Tomatoes huh?
Yup. Chicago Dog includes sliced tomatoes, diced onion, mustard, sweet relish, sport peppers, pickle spear, and celery salt. Bun must have poppy seeds on it and dog itself should be a steamed all beef hot dog.

It’s definitely a regional thing...but around these parts (even up in MKE) they’re king.

I love all hot dogs. I really like the poppy seed buns used in Chicago and the midwest. My all time favorite might be a New Jersey ripper from Rutt's Hut.

Just did some Hebrew Nats for lunch. No buns though. With nice mustard and grilled onions and peppers.

Part of the reason Chicago is a No Ketchup zone is the idea that the tomatoes deliver the taste without unnecessary sweetness.

My preferred hot dog vector is a chili dog with mustard and slaw, but the Chicago Dog is good as hell.

How is that guy that ate 75(?) hotdogs in 10 minutes.
Is he still alive?

They're all sort of different. I'd love to get some Southern Hemisphere oysters. I have enjoyed Pacific Northwest, French, and Northeast/Maritime ones and they are all subtly different.

I bought an oyster knife when the plague started and it's been a great tool to have. It's nice to only pay $.60 an oyster rather than the $3 they went for at restaurants.

So you just get them from a local seafood shop?

Yeah, it's not difficult once you get going. The biggest thing is to scrub them thoroughly before you shuck them so you don't get any sea grit in there.
