Do you mean the Mets or the Cubs?
Mets fired Omar and replaced him with Sandy Alderson. So, yeah, um, hope you love meathead closers who hate 1-2-3 innings.
Thank god the Cubs already have a bullpen...
I hope that fucknut does sign with the Mets and gets roasted by the press and fans.

Wow! Some of you are some serious wordsmiths. "F*** Mitch Williams"? You have no clue about Mr. Williams. He did not sell his house and run and hide. First: It was a rental home. 2nd: A gun? Yes, due to the death threats and vandalism he and his family endured. What happened to him was inexcusable. It's great to be passionate towards "your" team, but the reactions of a handful of fans to the serious was nothing short of psychotic. It's a shame that these idiots made a great group of true Philly fans look like drunken losers. Mitch gave the team and the fans everything he had, every game. Grow up, learn to express yourselves without profanity, and get the facts straight before speaking or posting.

Ha, ha, ha! So original. You are so quick witted. Does your mommy know you are using her Tandy computer for something other than Frogger? I love how people can tear someone down for just the pure enjoyment. Just wondering how many major league at bats or pitches you have under your belts? You know the funny thing is, if Mitch struck him out and Philly went on to win the WS would anyone remember Mitch? You people spew hate just so you can feel better about your crappy existence. His WS check was more than you guys could make in 5-10 years.

What greater achievement could a professional athlete aspire to—leaving no memory of his accomplishments. Like that guy who won a Super Bowl, and that other guy who won a golf trophy.

Obviously you are at a 4th grade level in reading comprehension. The funny thing is, when someone posts or replies to a post and is coherent and trying to evoke a pleasant debate on a topic, most of the keyboard cowards either run, or simply use vulgar language and attacks, because they truly have nothing of any substance or validity to offer. You guys (not all of you) somehow feel its ok to things like the Will Clark comment. What is there to be gained saying/typing things like that. The sad thing is, in Mitch Williams case, if you knew him or even spent a few minutes talking to him, you would find that he is a good guy, but that would mean one less person you could rip from behind the safety of your keyboard, where I have found the vast majority of cowards call home. Why not try to point out the positive. I'm not saying not to speak your mind or overlook negative traits, but a nice balance makes for health debates. No, I'm not Mitch but I am his brother. You can't expected me not to defend my family. If Mitch was or did any of the utterly ignorant things that were said I would be the second one to point them out. Is be second because Mitch would have been the first. He owns his screw ups without excuses.

Pardon my auto correct and my just plain grammatical errors, but I'm sure you good people will be more than happy to point out, LOUDLY. Hope you all have a great day (even the numbskulls that torched my Fam.

Ahhhh...the mark of a sharp Internet forum takedown...the 'ol "mommy" bit followed by assumptions of someone's wealth. We all are very concerned about everyone's wealth, btw, on a forum dedicated to a punk band.

Which brings me to my question. Do you think Wire is a punk band or not?
