Ah, the noble avenger, prowling the Internet to find people who have expressed negative opinions about semi-famous family members. Wait! A message board about the Clash! And someone two years ago made a throwaway comment about Mitch Williams! Power up, go, and rectify! Rectify, dammit!

(Why can't Grady Little's brother ever come around …?)

I loved Mitch with all my heart in 1989.

Eh, I've been embittered by it in the past, but in all honesty, apart from Grace, most of the '89 Cubs played poorly in the NLCS. I'm largely over it. Out of all the kicks in the nuts I've gotten as a Cubs fan, 1989 was one of the gentler ones.

But if Will Clark's brother ever shows up...

There are only a handful of Red Sox people I still have a visceral loathing for—the gutless Calvin Schiraldi and the brain dead Grady Little. That might actually be it. Plenty of players I never liked and cheering for them was all about the team, not the man, but Schiraldi and Little are two guys I'd love to take a running kick at their nuts.

And Lackey. Always Lackey.

And Flex, if fans count.

Shouldn't you be a Blue Jays fan or whatever?

I don't think the deluxe Guantanamo experience could turn me into a fan of a team from Toronto.

He's one of those guys who was really good but never made a real impression (speaking personally, of course). Harold Baines is another guy like that. Guys you'd want on your team, but they aren't the first pick.

I'd think if Larkin made it, Clark would have... 2000+ career hits, workhorse player, yet still couldn't get 5% to stay on the ballot..
