She may be yellow but her heart is Red

Post by Mimi »

There's a yellow feral cat that has assimilated her way into my life. When she meows she doesn't say Meow or Mew. She says Mao. I think I'll call her Commie Kittie. :shifty:

I thought it was funny.

I've been waiting months for a good place to drop Chairman Meow.

Love it, Meems....
I think between you and Wolt, you've hit on her full name: Chairman Meow, the Commie Kitty.

My cat doesn't meow, either --- she either barks ("mrah") or grumbles like Marge Simpson.

....cats that meow -- so 2007.
...advertising and kokaine.

Very cute Mimi...you are the one with the big heart, by the way. :)

My dog Zoe (not the one to the left) makes a Cher-like noise when she yawns...she says "haow."

Our calico, Pagan (seen below sitting on her brother's head), has a Lucille Ball smoker's voice meow, which more often than not sounds like "ow."

What are the chances of her becoming a house cat? She tried to sneak in the house a few times already.

Here's the first part of her story: http://sometimegoddess.livejournal.com/60477.html

Cats tend to adopt their owners rather than the other way around, but whether she'll give up her roaming ways is a crap shoot. But if she knows you're a reliable source of food and comfort, she'll probably stick around.

(Why haven't you told us that you blog?)

I'm definitely a good source of food. Wait, that sounded wrong so I'm definitely not changing the sentence.

Oh, and Hooky...I blog. :shifty:

You're a real good storyteller, Mimi -- i'm totally sucked in with the cat saga. You'll have to post updates!

I'll be nicer to you than I am to Wolter. But then I don't imagine you write about Ghostbusters, Jack Kirby, and Jewish culture as much as him.
