Dr. Who/Torchwood
Re: Dr. Who/Torchwood
Although I've seen this thread title hundreds of times I just read it as Dr Who/Townsend.

Re: Dr. Who/Torchwood
Jesus, I really let it slide in terms of posting new episodes. If you just follow the wacky Who-related antics of James and Kevin via this thread, here's what you've been missing out on:
Episode 21: The Rings of Akhaten & The Time Warrior
Pex Lives on three continents! Abossycontrolfreak.tumblr.com is one of the crew's favourite places on the web and they had a great time talking to the woman behind it, Caitlin Smith. They start by talking specifically about the 11th Doctor episode, Rings of Akhaten, as a jumping off point to get to Clara and then go into Sarah Jane Smith's debut in the Time Warrior with the inimitable Three. This one's a keeper, folks.
Huge thanks to golden-phizzwizard.tumblr.com/ for our brilliant custom episode artwork. You should definitely check out the rest of their stuff.
Additional notes and podcast:
Episode 22: The Macra Terror, or, Dreadful. Did you hear that rhyme?
Pex Lives had a wonderful time talking to the brilliant Holly B. about Moffat for a little while and the classic Troughton serial, the Macra Terror. Download, enjoy, and share!
Have you heard? May is Macra Madness Month!
Additional notes and podcast:
Pex Lives and Eruditorum Press Presents: The Vox Day Interview
Phil Sandifer talks to Vox Day, the writer and editor behind the Rabid Puppy/Hugo Awards controversy, about the relative merits of John C. Wright’s One Bright Star to Guide Them and Iain M. Banks’ The Wasp Factory.
Additional notes and podcast:
Shabcast 6 (a.k.a. The Vox Day Interview Afterparty)
This one is us guesting on Jack Graham's shabcast to do post-interview commentary on the Rumble in the Sci-Fi Jungle that took place on our own podcast. There's actually more of us on this than on the hosted interview.
Additional notes and podcast: http://shabogangraffiti.blogspot.com/20 ... ast-6.html
Episode 23: City of Death, or, Absolutely Exquisite
This is almost as much fun as the serial being discussed. Featuring our own Wolter and Boddington!
Additional notes and podcast:
I'll also note that we've started hosting additional programming on our account:
-Jack Graham's Shabcast: Jack doing what Jack does, lots of great coverage both of Doctor Who and other issues. He effortlessly achieves what James and I are always striving for. Link:
-Holly B and James' City of the Dead: James just can't seem to stick to one podcast. He and Holly are covering all of the output of Amicus Studios in this ambitious podcast. Link:
Enjoy!

I've studied the phenomenon of neo-provincialism in self-isolating online communities but this place takes the fucking cake.
