His voice is crisp and his diction clean. I don't think his singing has a lot of personality, but he doesn't make a grotesquerie of it. I'd say he's a competent triple threat.

Haven't seen Waters of Mars yet, hoping it's better than Planet of the Dead. What a waste of an episode that was. Oh yes, I'm still afraid of the new Doctor's ghoulish face.
