too bad, one of the few literary SF writers. I'm sad that the literary SF movement never went anywhere--the only example of a breakout writer I can think of is Jonathan Lethem, but that's because he turned to realist fiction.

Camp Concentration. Or fuck, Brave Little Toaster, haha. Short story collections are good too--sometimes you'll see his stuff in gay lit anthologies as well.

EDIT: 334 is sort of a novella collection or a "novel" in the Burroughsian sense and pretty good too
