Does anyone here use it?

I never saw the point of Twitter. The idea always annoyed me.

I don't. Is it like Facebook but only status updates instead?

I have a twitter account (kevin_burns) but only update haphazardly. I'm in charge of the Twitter account for the folks I worth for tho.

It's fine as a supplemental social networking platform, I don't like moves to turn it into a primary tho.

I checked it out and thought it was pretty vapid. I like what the Web has given us in terms of information sharing but I hate what it has done to the English language.

I don't see the point of twitter. Although, I know of a lot of writers/agents/editors who twitter.

i use it for the singular purpose of following the one Stephen Fry.

I feel old for not seeing the point of it. Either that, or I am right.
