Re: Star Trek
Animated series or does this reveal that Star Fleet doesn't allow people to retire?

Evidently the Shat threw shade at Jason Isaacs on Twitter yesterday.

Re: Star Trek
I believe it's canon that Picard develops dementia shortly after retirement. I wonder if the show will focus on that.

Re: Star Trek
That same disease he had in the series finale? I'd be stunned if they kept that. A Picard series is already an exercise in nostalgia, to some degree, so radically altering the character that people love would be a hard sell.

Given Q orchestrated that stuff, it’s easily ignored.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑06 Aug 2018, 4:52pmThat same disease he had in the series finale? I'd be stunned if they kept that. It's never stated to be the case, but given also Data is alive (and after Nemesis he is dead), I think the whole thing could be chalked up to Q.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑06 Aug 2018, 5:36pmQ orchestrated the time shifting, but not the disease, no?eumaas wrote: ↑06 Aug 2018, 5:31pmGiven Q orchestrated that stuff, it’s easily ignored.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑06 Aug 2018, 4:52pmThat same disease he had in the series finale? Ah, okay. If Q eliminates the existence of Nemesis, it'd be worth it.eumaas wrote: ↑06 Aug 2018, 5:50pmIt's never stated to be the case, but given also Data is alive (and after Nemesis he is dead), I think the whole thing could be chalked up to Q.Dr.
