I'm out and this picture was on the toilet door of a decent pub, even more decent given the Peep Show reference.

I had this new coworker try and explain the genius of the Big Bang Theory to me today. So get this, the premise apparently is these guys are really smart but they are total geeks and have no common sense nor social skills and there's this girl and she's kind of dumb.

I had to just pretend I'd never heard of it as that was the quickest way out of the conversation.

Yeah he was a bit incredulous that I didn't know about it. It had been on for X many years. And he went on how it was amazing that a show "like that" was on for so long. I couldn't wait to get out of that conversation. Another person came along which allowed me to slip out sooner than normal.

Its county fair season in Vermont right now. And some of the worst things about this country are on display. An abundance of fatty fried food and sugary drinks, people who are insanely overweight and filling up on the aforementioned food. People with try and burn this shirts with flags on them and other jingoistic nonsense. To escape the heat I went in where various hucksters are peddling their wares and I came across this.
