Look at Mark in panel 2. He has zombie eyes.
I noticed that, too, this morning. The art is atrocious. Please, dude, go back to your copy-paste work, Mark Trail is smugly square-jawed, not like a Raggedy Andy doll.
And Geoff's mouth in the last panel. Im really curious. Did the actual artist die and his family is doing some kind of weird weekend at Bernie's thing so that they can collect some big pay day?
It's getting even worse.

I do not like this all, but Rusty's—I can't even call him L'il Ted Cruz at this point—expression at the end suggests he's going to do something terrible to the blonde hobo. I mean, all you see is Rusty's bottom teeth, like he's a slobbering goon.
Those could be 2 or 3 different characters he is so different in each one.
He's going to bludgeon the blond kid with a log and leave him for dead deep in the woods, but not before riffling his pack for chewing gum and comic books.

And that beautiful will be ruined by the crappy art.

And blame it on the weird blonde kid in the first panel. Or vice versa either works.

This upcoming title from Image looks like it could be great, just by the name.

I don't think so. It's just the two official bad kids who'll learn that the real camping trip is friendship by the end of the story.

The artwork changes again. Rusty no longer looks like an emo kid.

I'm extremely disappointed in this art change. The strip works as unintended comedy because of that wooden 1950s clipart style.

The (shitty) artwork doesn't show it, but Mark is doing suggestive air quotes around "work" in the third panel. He knows the score and he wants in.

Diamond announced an indefinite cessation of new product shipping. I get the feeling they're going to use this opportunity to scale down rather drastically. Either way, this and the mandated closings are probably going to bankrupt most comics stores. Sad.
