I still say it's a Doombot, even if it has to be retconned.

I don't think any of the Electric Company adventures are canon.

Doesn't matter. It's a Doombot. Doom, under no circumstances, says "Ha-Ha!" Or carries around a giant orange orchid.

Oh, he gets a pass on Norwegian culture, but no one, not even King Haakon V, gets a pass on not digging Thor.
King Haakon V? He's dead.... a long long time ago, 1299 - 1319 to be exact. Today we have Harald V, who has been king since 1991... His son the crown prince, is Haakon, and he'll be King Haakon VIII when he takes the hot-seat when his dad steps down (up).

I know. I was using him as a paragon of "Being Norwegian." Hooks introduced the false premise that being of Norwegian descent has any bearing on the awesomeness of Thor. I submit that it does not.

I just placed an order on Amazon for the following:

1. Empowered #1 (I'll give it a go)
2. Cerebus #1 (I've had the series digitally for a while, but it deserves hard copies in my collection... at least a few)
3. Conan and the Grim Grey God (never let it be said I don't have any Conan in my life)
4. Jerry Lee Lewis - Live at the Star Club, Hamburg (not so much nerdy, but pure awesome)

Just thought I'd share in case anyone thought I was going soft on the nerd cred.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

as far as nerdly things, I've been working my way through season one of X-Files. I had forgotten how big a show that was for me when I was a kid--I think I wanted to look like Duchovny when grown up even.

I've been thinking of starting from season one as well, but that's a hell of a commitment. I never did watch the T-1000 years, so maybe it'll be worthwhile.

I jumped ship after that ep with the pedo Santa farm.

Don't think I saw that one. You've definitely blipped my pedo-dar though :shifty:

So, I just watched the pilot for The Middleman on the ABC family website. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.
