On the topic of cheese, I have recently discovered that if you spread some Pesto on a cracker then lay a thin slice of Feta it tastes abosolutely superb and is a great way to eat cheese whilst drinking beer.

Yes. I didn't know how to spell it.

And I completely forgot about Swiss. Good thing it's disgusting.

Ali and my new favorite: Feta, Green Olive, Banana Pepper.
I'd never order anything with olives by choice, but I don't pick them off if they're there. Throw in a spicy meat and that's a damn good pie.
I might have to agree with you on that. Spicy meats in general are pretty dandy.

What the hell's Banana Pepper??

My pizza du choice: prosciutto, tomato, mushroom, goat cheese. Mmmmm-MM!

Yeah, it's both Banana colored and slightly sweeter and milder than a hot pepper.

Whilst drinking beer and eating cheese as seperate entities are always great, some cheese doesn't go so well with beer and spoils the taste of the beer. This particularly applies to soft cheese like Brie and Camembert plus blue cheese can be too 'tangy' to mix with beer. I find harder less creamy cheese the best (Feta as I explained) and Edam and Cheddar arent bad.
