The religious nutballs section is actually much larger and includes Florida and Texas. And California isn't nearly as awesome as people from California think.

Southern and northern Calfornia might as well be two states. The north is loaded with aging hipsters that have an alarming amount of pinko bumper stickers on their undersized electric vehicles. The south is filled with people with a secondary entertainment career of some sort.
