Anyone have this happen to them?
I had the guitar on a stand and plugged into the amp. I was walking in the dark and my toe caught the cord and knocked the guitar face first to the ground. I had never been more pissed at myself and not more sad in a long time.
How much would it cost to fix this? It's a Gibson Les Paul Studio.

You'd probably have to buy a whole new neck... you can do a repair job on just the headstock of course, but it might cause sound/action problems.
Probably cost a lot though...
I'm in the same boat as I was just trying to get the chrome cover for my tele neck pickup and ended up spending over $80 just to get the $10 item.

Does it still play OK? If so, wrap some gaffer tape round the head and fuckin' rock on.

Yeah, I've broken an electric guitar like that before.
I think it was somehow related to the 2nd or 3rd high-speed impact with the concrete floor.

that's a quality break. i would recommend superglue, some clash decoupage and hang it up on the wall.

I've had an LP copy go like that: repaired with epoxy adhesive and self-amalgamating tape. Guitar played and sounded just as crap after the repair as it did before the damage
The set/glued neck makes replacing the neck awkward - try this:

A very sad sight indeed, it might be possible to repair it looking at the way its split along the grain of the neck you may be able to drill some screws in from the rear side and fill the split with PVA wood glue, other than that it's a new neck.
