I got a 4 pack and now I'm on #4. I probably shouldn't have had all 4. Its more of a dessert beer. At 8% abv it's a little stronger than your average beer.
Thous looks delicious.
I enjoyed it, should have had just the one though. It's both sweet and a little boozy. Definitely more of a dessert beer.

Tonight's offering a fine local ale. Perfect balance of malt and hops.

Speaking of booze and such. How much is too much? There's the obvious too much but where's the point of concern vs the point of no return?

Nightly it is when a shot of tequila sounds like a great idea.

Hmmm hadn't thought of it really. Nightly? I mean I don't normally have trouble getting up in the morning or anything like that. I know my threshold for that and rarely go over that. Not to spill my guts but the last two years have been hellish in a lot of ways and I know I'm drinking more as a result.

Never been a tequila guy and rarely hit the hard stuff except when I mix it.

It’s not so much a quantative amount as it is how you are using it and how it affects your work, family, etc.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Yeah, this has usually been how I looked at it. For me it doesn't affect work or family, not so sure about the etc.

basically if the drink prevents you from doing other things you want to do, it's too much.

and, obviously, if you're having more than two and then getting behind a wheel it's too much.
