The Manchurian Candidate is fiction … but this is real. Yup.
Just the other day I found out that CIA funded the cartoon version of Animal Farm.

Yep. The CIA secretly funded a lot of cultural activities and journals in the 1950s and 1960s if they could be used to undermine Communist countries. When this became better known, a number of New Left activists accused Old Left figures who were involved in these journals of being turncoats.

I'd think that would only undermine Communism if people understood Animal Farm.

It would also undermine vegetarianism if people knew how sinister pigs really were.

People who dislike pineapple on pizza are lying or giant babies.

Good lord, I'm sort of siding with Kory on a pizza topping topic. I don't go out of my way to order pineapple as a topping, but it's perfectly fine.

the texture of pineapple is revolting and its placing on pizza puts the whole pie right in the trash for me.

I dislike pineapple in pretty much anything but a fruit cup or on a ham steak. One I had fried rice with pineapple in it and that was pretty good. You pineapple pizza people should have a good old margarita pie with a strip of anchovy on each slice. That’ll put some hair on your chest poindexter.
