Association Football Thread

Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

The performance of Foden yesterday was absolutely breath-taking. I thought he was good before, but that was just next level outrageousness! England have a sparkling gem there for sure.
Yep he is a quality player. He will only get better as well. Fantastic movement. Hard for this United fan to admit. But truth is truth.

Yeah, not too flashy, like a Messi or Mbappe but fantastic in possession and use of the ball. Good job he lost that awful bleached blonde look too. That made me really want to dislike him!

Hello,

Yesterday may have been his arrival as a dominant player. Prior, he was good but didn't dominate. I'm not a City fan but enjoy watching De Bruyne, Haaland, and Foden.

Hello,

What a finish!

Diallo is lucky - keep your head - understand the emotion, keep your jersey on.

Brilliant game. Amad not lucky he got sent off. And his reaction to scoring a winning goal in that fashion against your biggest age old rivals was 100% understandable.

I think most players would've acted exactly the same way. To be fair to Amad he is only 21. The youngsters Mainoo, Garnacho and Diallo were quality.

See you in a couple of weeks time Liverpool.

The side profile one on the right does look vaguely familiar but still not sure I'd have twigged it had i not already known the answer. 90% of these statues are pretty much rubbish if you ask me.

It was the hair and the three lions badge but other than that I wouldn't have known.

Hello,

I didn't get it but after looking at the right hand photo (and the 3 lions), I kind of get it.
