Re: Association Football Thread
Was sent to me by a former classmate just recently. I'm not in the picture.
Who pfaffed the pfaff? Who got pfaffed tonight?
Re: Association Football Thread
I thought that was a picture from Gregory’s Girl!
Re: Association Football Thread
Had to google the movie but the timeline seems about right.

My neighbour has let flares off and his party are screaming their heads off. I'll assume Liverpool have scored.

A bit of a fortunate penalty. Half time now a poor game with Spurs slightly shading possession. I hope Spurs score next so we get a game on.

Oh my God I could strangle this stupid arsehole neighbour screaming, literally screaming every minute of the match. Waking the baby up now. Dickhead.

Not good mate. I think it was a dull game but then after the two semi finals it was always bound to be an anti climax. Congrats to Liverpool.

Not if they had a small baby surely mate. You can go out and celebrate anywhere in town. I understand the euphoria but not the lack of respect.Heston wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 8:05pmSorry but if Sunderland had won the Champions league I would be kicking next door's windows in.Marky Dread wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 7:27pmAhh mate I understand his happiness but not his selfishnessBitterTom wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 6:26pmEven worse , they've decided to throw a party now. The wife is super happy. A big let down after the matches that led them there, but I’ll take it.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
