I guess I'm late for this one Richard Lewis stand-up comedian and co-star of Curb Your Enthusiasm, has died at the age of 76. I was never a fan of his humor
Yeah, I'm with you. Not wishing to speak ill of the dead, but I just never found him funny, either as a stand-up or comedic actor. He'd been ill for some time, tho, I think?
Same here. I never really liked him in anything though he was in stuff I enjoyed.
That’s a good way of putting it. He showed up enough in stuff I liked that I was aware of him, but he just never appealed to me.

Yeah, unbelievably sad. The Wakefields were world class people by all accounts.

While Schilling survived his cancer (didn't his wife also?). Proof that there is no moral force governing the universe.

Former Canadian prime minister, Lyin' Brian Mulroney. Very little good to say about him—he set Canada on its cruel neoliberal path in the 80s—except that he was, even by today's standards, fairly progressive on environmental issues.

Shit, sorry Doc. Hope he checks in soon to let us know he’s doing okay.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
