Old Yankees, new Yankees, and Rockford Peaches hat which I can't wear anymore. Thanks, maggots.
Is that a Rockford Peaches hat?
Yep. Got it in Copperstown.
Hello,

Cooperstown? I've been a few times (it's near my family in upstate NY). Really cool little village. The Baseball Hall of Fame is a great visit.
If you're ever in the Kansas City area go to the Negro Leagues museum. Well worth it.

When we visited Cooperstown in 2005, it was a Sunday in April. How do I know this? One of the souvenir shops was closed and rather defiantly explained that it was honouring the sabbath (unlike *harumph* everyone else on the street). It also had a lot of Jesus-playing-sports crap in the window, like this:
Image
Yeah, cool, Jesus, playing b-ball with kids a good foot shorter than you. Jesus is king, my ass.

First one to get the ball from me gets to heaven.

He was dunking on those kids all day.

Also I would totally get one of those if I saw it.

A friend of mine who's a basketball fan and a militant atheist had it (fuck, I may have bought it for him, now that I think of it). He thought Our Lord was taunting those kids with his reach like the doomed sinners they were.

Hello,

No worries - Copperstown sounds pretty plausible for a town.

Did you (all you guys, actually) go to the Farmer's Museum? It was the highlight of our trip, tbh.

Hadn't heard of it until now, so nope.
