Who is that?
At first I thought it was Bobby Valentine's disguise, but they wouldn't do that in KC.
LOL, Bobby V.

Oh is it Bernie from Weekend at Bernie's?

I have never seen that movie. I have no regrets.

I have seen Forrest Gump, once in the theatre and once on tv. But I read the novel in the 80s and liked it, so I felt obliged to see the movie.

Didn't know it was based on a book. Ive never read a book, then seen the movie and not be wholly disappointed.

Maybe we should read the Weekend at Bernie's novel.

I thought the book was hilarious when I first read it. I re-visited it a few years after the movie and … was less taken by it. The author, Winston Groom, was a victim of Hollywood accounting. They claimed that the movie never turned a profit and so he made hardly anything from ticket sales.

I'm sure the producers of Weekend at Bernie's would be insulted if they knew their classic was being compared to Forrest Gump.

A comment: If Bo Bichette's nickname isn't Bounty Hunter or Mandalorian, Blue Jays fans deserve another generation of wandering in the wilderness.

It's just the weirdest damned thing watching the Red Sox and, game after game, they trot out pitchers I've never heard of. It's like they had open tryouts and anyone with a glove gets to pitch.

The chief criteria seems to be giving up bombs to chumps. Think you're up for that?
