My wife is a high school art teacher in NYC and gave the kids an assignment based on one of her paintings. Check out what this kid did!

That’s cool but what was your wife’s painting they based it on?
It was a similar idea, do a painting over a subway map. She has a character that she has been drawing for years, it's an illustration of a silly green monster that doesn't speak but holds signs and that's along with her character of herself. Sort of like this below but using an old subway map as the background. I don't have the exact painting, I think she sold it.
