Gather 'round the fire - The thread where Neil tells us about Saskatoon

Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

Maybe it would be cool to have a Medulla familiar. I can get you to do my ghostly bidding.
Expect ironic reversals.
Hey, I've had a monkey's paw before—I'm hip.
Note to future ghost me: Turn Kory's hands into monkey paws. Also remove his hips.
Okay, Kory might be safe. Wally remains cursed.

Monkeys have hands not paws.
Note to future ghost me: Turn all of Wally's Two-Tone albums into Loverboy records.
Just wanted to save resident Primatologist Wolter the need to point out your anotomical error.

Never heard of the place, but I'm not much of a perogie fan.

I don't dislike them. Just not a fan.

I've never had one, same goes for knishes. I've had Jamaican and Haitian patties, but in general I'm not a fan of meat pastries.

It’s not a pastry. It’s a dumpling of potato and cheese best served with a tasty sausage.

How can there be a Yankee fan who’s never had a knish?

The best pregame before going the MLB’s mausoleum New Yankee Stadium is a Jamaican joint on Gerald Ave. Get yourself some jerk chicken and a bottle of Ting.

An old Saskatchewanian expression (tho I doubt it's used by anyone but oldtimers now) that just came to mind: "Give 'er snoose, Bruce, the goose is loose." (The second line is optional—my dad only used the first half.) Meaning, make an effort, pal, this is important.
