It'd be appropriate to smother some Piggly Wiggly-brand pastrami with it. With a phone handy to call 9-1-1.

It doesn’t taste like mayo so much as it tastes like slaw dressing (the sauce in store-bought coleslaw), i.e. it is full of sugar and has a vinegared sourness. I prefer ordinary mayo. Over the course of the week I will be trying it on various foods. I would appreciate suggestions from my English friends on here.

Here's your suggestion: get rid of the salad cream and buy some brown sauce.

I tried to make a cheese sandwich with it and it was disastrous. I'm sort of avoiding bread anyway. So tomorrow I'm going to try something else.

I'm gonna try to combine it with roast garlic to see if I can make it taste better than what it is (which is cheapo slaw dressing).

Is it just a less flavorful ranch dressing?

Buy coleslaw from the grocery store. Remove the coleslaw, leaving only the liquid. It's like that in flavor but closer in texture to ketchup. So if you took mayo and added vinegar and sugar, there you go. It is singularly unimpressive and not as good as ordinary mayo. However, I am going to continue to experiment with it because it cost $7.

All I recall was loudly adding "AND OBEY" to the end of every sentence.
