My guess is underspiced.
Is it possible to boil a pie?
Yes and and no. You can boil a Steak and Kidney pie and instead of short crust pastry it has a suet casing but it becomes a Steak and Kidney Pudding.
This is accurate. A suet-based paste and boiled in cloth would make it a pudding.
Do you use salad cream for these?
Never blow your salad cream on a pie!!

No idea. To be honest salad cream is pretty awful and I have been struggling to find a good use for it.
Can it carry another flavor? Maybe pepper, salt or picante.

I'm gonna try to add roasted garlic and black pepper to it tomorrow, but it's so sugary.

The Heinz corporation has ruined them as badly as Kraft has the Midwest.
Aside from barbecue sauce, of course.
I hope Curt Schilling buys a weird house in your neighborhood.

“Man’s Man” is clearly old London Irish slang for “arsonist.”
