Re: Remember when yoof Tv was great?
This episode made me smile recorded around Reading. The platform on Reading station where I worked off loading the mall trains and the scene in the Boars Head pub where I sank many a pint. Nice to see local band General Accident again and of course the mighty Specials.

Best quality footage I've seen of this great weekend at the Reading Festival 1978. Almost 14 years old and punk meant everything to me.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Content blocked here but I've seen it a thousand times anyway. Ben Elton's clever little dig at Jimmy and youth culture. He was such a great comedic writer at that time even if it was silly and obvious.

Yep Ben Elton is s master at observational satire (just made that up). If you read his book Chart Throb all those shoes like Pop Idol make perfect senseMarky Dread wrote: ↑12 Jun 2018, 1:55pmContent blocked here but I've seen it a thousand times anyway.
